Lady Gowrie Queensland (LGQ) has grown from a demonstration centre to one of the most trusted and respected not-for-profit providers of early childhood education and care in the state. With more than 85 years of service, LGQ operates over 120 services, spanning metropolitan Brisbane, regional towns, rural communities, and the Torres Strait Islands.

This footprint enables LGQ to respond to the diverse needs of children, families, and communities, offering long day care and community kindergartens. LGQ delivers government funded Early Years Places in Caboolture and surrounding regions, offering wrap-around family support which connects vulnerable families with health, education, and community services.

We are also recognised as a leader in workforce capability, governance, and sector advocacy. Through professional learning, mentoring, and consultancy, we support educators to strengthen pedagogy—while partnering with government and other stakeholders to shape policy and practice.
