Lady Gowrie Tasmania is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation, putting ‘Children First’ in all that we do. We offer high quality, inclusive and safe education and care services and support programs for Tasmanian children and their families. We also offer innovative training and other programs to support education and care professionals.

We offer education and care for children in 39 services across Tasmania. Our Long Day Care Services cater for children from birth to five years of age in nurturing, play-based early learning environments. Our Outside School Hours Care Services offer programs for children from five to 12 years of age in play and leisure-based learning environments.

By investing in our people through employee wellbeing, professional development and wage increases, we strengthen our ability to attract, retain and support the dedicated educators who make a difference in the lives of Tasmanian children and families every day.

Lady Gowrie Tasmania is also the state-wide provider of the Inclusion Support Program (ISP), funded by the Australian Government Department of Education to champion inclusive practices. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45602) providing accredited training and assessment in Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
